Position: Investment Specialist Assistant

Salary Range: $30,000-$40,000

The candidate is a service and support representative in the Wealth Management division supporting Portfolio Managers.  The successful candidate will work both independently and with direction on projects, client problem resolution, data assimilation as well as client-facing activities.  Additional responsibilities include report generation, spreadsheet analysis, proposal responsibilities and compliance functions.  The candidate must be a self-confident individual with a strong work ethic, team player attitude, solid social skills and a desire to work in a professional investment management environment. This position requires a proactive mid-set and confidentiality with client centric information.  Accuracy is required at all times.  We envision this position to lead to a role in high level investment work for the successful entry level professional. 

The successful candidate will have advanced knowledge of departmental and bank products and services as well as excellent client service skills.  The candidate will be trained on investment products as well as departmental procedures and systems operation.  The candidate will have a college degree and ideally one to two years of experience in the investment management field.
